Founded 1949 incorporating two faculties: the Faculty of Music and the Faculty of Drama. The Department of Dance was attached to the Faculty of Music. The Faculty of Drama was divided into the Faculty of Drama and Puppet Art and the Faculty of Film and Television in 1990.
