Created in 1994 as a branch of Moscow Open Social University and there were only two faculties – the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics. In 1995 the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Psychology were established. In 1996 the branch was transformed into the non-governmental educational establishment “Murmansk Humanities Institute”. In 1995 the Faculty of Journalism was established. Since 2002, the institution has offered postgraduate studies in the fields of economics, law and psychology.

  • Admission details: Certificate of completed secondary Education (Attestat O Polnom Srednem Obrasovanii), national examination certificates in 3 required subjects (as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Science in accordance with the fields of studies within higher education)
