University of Curaçao
Founded 1970 as Law School, became Institute of Higher Studies 1973 and became Universiteit van de Nederlandse Antillen (University of the Netherlands Antilles) in 1979, incorporating the School of Engineering, which was founded in 1972. Acquired current title 2013. The University is responsible to the Ministry of Education.
