マウント・セント・ビンセント大学 (MSVU)

Founded 1873 as an academy. The Nova Scotia legislature granted Mount Saint Vincent College status to confer degrees 1925, making it the only independent Women's college in the British Commonwealth. Became Mount Saint Vincent University 1966. Current charter was approved to transfer ownership of the University from Sisters of Charity to the Board of Governors 1988.
